I now have the time to work on this site and my Sheltie Heart Book! I will be finishing my book this winter.

Do you ever think about the heart and soul of your Sheltie? I often do and it has led me to write about my Shelties and my life with them. I will soon be publishing a book entitled Sheltie Heart. In this book I delve into the essence of the Sheltie, I discover their soul and their very spirit. We are so fortunate to have a relationship with another being. Our Shelties teach us so much. They give us so much and are always there for us.
I will be publishing excerpts from my book here on this web site. These short stories will give you an idea of what my book is like, what my life with Shelties has been. My life is so much more enjoyable and full and all because of having the privilege to live with these wonderful spirits!
Here on this site I will include information on the Shetland Sheepdog history, care and training. You will be able to email me with any questions and I will do the best I can to answer them and if I don't know the answer there are many knowledgeable Sheltie people who can help us find the answer to your question.
With this site I hope to help those new to the breed make the right choice in a family pet, performance dog or a show dog. There is so much to learn about the Shetland Sheepdog before you take the plunge into purchasing your first Sheltie. Once you have studied the Sheltie you will find the decision to bring a Sheltie into your life very easy and will have a friend and companion for many wonderful years.
I have been owned by Shelties for over thirty- eight years and find I am always learning something new about these wonderful dogs! Owning a Sheltie is an ongoing learning experience and so much that you learn from your companion will help you with your daily life in so many ways.
